Jan Riedl

Jan Riedl has a diverse work experience spanning multiple research and scientific roles. They are currently employed as a Senior Scientist at Evonetix Ltd, starting in June 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Oxford Nanopore Technologies as a Senior Scientist from November 2016 to April 2022, and as a Research Scientist from November 2015 to October 2016. They also served as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Utah from September 2012 to October 2015. Before that, they worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Institute of Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry of the Czech Academy of Sciences from September 2007 to May 2012. Additionally, Jan Riedl gained international experience as an Erasmus Exchange Student at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology from August 2004 to July 2005, and as an IAESTE Trainee at Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd in June 2004.

Jan Riedl completed their education at the University of Chemistry and Technology in Prague (UCT Prague). From 2001 to 2007, they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Biochemistry. Following this, they continued their studies at UCT Prague and obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Organic Chemistry from 2007 to 2012.
