Alexander Brack

Alexander Brack is a highly experienced professional in the field of mechanical engineering, specializing in high-performance polymers and fiber-reinforced plastics. Currently serving as Group Leader in Processing Development at Evonik since September 2017, Alexander has previously held the position of Senior Project Manager focused on Composite Application Technology and Testing. Prior experience includes roles as Project Engineer and Research Associate at the Fraunhofer Institute for Production Technology IPT, where work centered on pultrusion, laser-assisted processing of fiber-reinforced thermoplastics, and developing new applications for these materials. Alexander also contributed as a Student Assistant at both Fraunhofer IPT and RWTH Aachen University, alongside an internship in R&D for spine implants at B. Braun Gruppe. Alexander holds a Ph.D. and a Diplom-Ingenieur in Mechanical Engineering from RWTH Aachen University, complemented by international education at KTH Royal Institute of Technology.
