Bin C. is an accomplished scientist with extensive experience in research and development within the chemical and materials engineering fields. Currently serving as the Lead RDI Scientist at Evonik since March 2021, Bin C. previously held the position of Senior Scientist at PPG Industries from June 2016 to March 2021. Bin C.’s academic background includes a PhD in Chemical Engineering from The University of Akron, complemented by a Master of Science in Organic/Material Chemistry from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas, as well as a Bachelor of Engineering in Polymer Materials and Engineering from Zhengzhou University. Prior roles include postdoctoral research and teaching experience at the University of Pittsburgh and The University of Akron, along with research positions at Akron MedVision Inc. and Peking University.
