Daniel Haake

Daniel Haake is a seasoned data scientist and software developer with extensive experience in machine learning and data analysis. Currently serving as a Senior Data Scientist & Software Developer at Evonik since March 2021, Daniel previously held the positions of Senior Data Scientist & Data Science Hub Lead and Data Scientist at The unbelievable Machine Company GmbH from August 2018 to February 2021. Key achievements include developing machine-learning pipelines, implementing intelligent parameter selection for automotive testing, and building recommender systems. Daniel has also contributed to various projects in the chemical industry, utilizing deep learning techniques for image segmentation. Additionally, prior experience includes data analysis for the Polizei Brandenburg, where Daniel began a career in law enforcement after earning degrees in Data Science and Informatics. Daniel is active in the community as a speaker at conferences and workshops.
