Daniel Zhou

Daniel Zhou serves as the RD&I Crosslinkers Regional Head at Evonik since July 2022, bringing extensive experience in research and development from previous roles. At ExxonMobil from May 2015 to July 2022, Daniel held positions as a Research Associate, managing research agreements and collaboration projects with top universities, and as a Senior Research Chemist, leading a polymer science lab. Prior to that, Daniel worked as a Senior Scientist at The Dow Chemical Company, where contributions included the optimization of materials for leading semiconductor companies and innovation in polymer chemistry, securing multiple patents. Experience also includes a Technical Consultant role at SES and a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, focusing on advanced polymerization techniques. Daniel Zhou earned a PhD in Chemistry and Material Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Bachelor of Science in Polymer Chemistry from the University of Science and Technology of China.
