David Gohsen

David Gohsen has extensive experience in energy trading and portfolio management, having served in various leadership roles at Evonik from August 2016 to April 2024, including Head of Energy Trading & Portfolio Management and Head of Portfolio Management Power. Prior to this, Gohsen worked as a Senior Energy Consultant and held the position of Scientific Assistant at RWTH Aachen University from January 2013 to January 2016, where responsibilities included leading a team focused on energy-economical systems analysis and lecturing in energy management and alternative energy technologies. Gohsen holds a Dr.-Ing. in Energiewirtschaft and a Master of Science in Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen, specializing in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Energy Technology, both from RWTH Aachen University.
