Dr. Daniel Witthaut, MBA, serves as the Vice President and Head of Networks at RD&I. Previously, Dr. Witthaut held several leadership roles at Evonik from 2008 to 2015, including VP of New Business Development and Head of Portfolio and Processes for Research, Development, and Innovation. Additionally, Dr. Witthaut has been the Executive Director of Innovation at Cefic since 2021, focusing on collaboration with member companies to drive innovation in the European chemical industry. Dr. Witthaut earned a Ph.D. from the University of Münster and an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
