Dr. Julia Elbert

Dr. Julia Elbert is an experienced professional in supply chain performance management and sustainability, currently serving as the Director of Supply Chain Performance Management at Evonik since October 2014. In this role, Dr. Elbert oversees the holistic continuous analysis of supply chain processes and systems, implementing best practices and managing sustainability targets, including Scope 3 emissions. Prior to this position, Dr. Elbert held roles as Senior Sustainability Manager with a focus on procurement and GHG emission reduction, and Head of Oleochemicals & Renewables Europe. Dr. Elbert began her career at Evonik as a Business Analyst from April 2010 to May 2014. Dr. Elbert holds a doctorate in Wirtschaftschemie from the University of Münster and a Diplom in Wirtschaftschemie from the same institution, complemented by a study period at Dalian University of Technology.
