Hermann Knauf

Hermann Knauf is the Director of Research & Development at Evonik Rexim, where they focus on the development and improvement of processes for manufacturing ingredients in pharma and food applications. With a Ph.D. and Master's degree in Food Science from Universität Hohenheim, Hermann has previously held significant roles at Nestlé, leading various teams in fermentation and technology management from 1997 to 2002. Their background also includes consulting in food R&D and quality assurance in the meat industry prior to joining Evonik in 2015. Passionate about creating customer value and executing LEAN practices, Hermann emphasizes collaboration and continuous improvement in their work.
