Iris Tang has extensive experience in the chemical industry, holding various leadership roles across multiple companies. Starting as a researcher at Shanghai Jahwa United Co., Ltd from July 1997 to January 1999, Iris transitioned to Clariant, serving as Technical Service, Sales, and Marketing Manager in Functional Chemicals from March 1999 to October 2003. Following this, Iris worked at the Degussa Group from April 2005 to April 2007 as a Project Manager in a global management rotation program. Subsequently, from May 2007 to September 2010, Iris served as Business Director for Specialty Monomers at Evonik Degussa China. Iris continued to elevate within Evonik, holding several key positions including Senior VP & General Manager for BL Silica, Asia Pacific, and Senior VP & Global Head of PL Metal Oxides for BL Silica until June 2020. Currently, Iris is the Senior VP and General Manager for BL Crosslinker in Asia Pacific at Evonik, a position held since January 2024. Iris Tang earned an MBA in General Management from the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University between 2003 and 2005.
