Johan De Meyer has a diverse background in engineering, having held various positions in mechanical design and plant management. They started their career as a mechanical design engineer for KdG Solarboat in 2008, followed by roles at Van Hool and Mowag GmbH, where they worked on commercial vehicles and amphibious vehicle concepts. Currently, Johan holds the position of Assistant Plant Engineer and Plant Manager at Evonik, where they also lead the inspection department, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. Johan earned an MSc in Industrial Science from Karel de Grote-Hogeschool and an International Welding Engineer degree from the Belgisch Instituut voor Lastechniek.
