Justin Blaney

Justin Blaney is a seasoned Production Superintendent and Process Engineer at Evonik since June 2021, providing 24/7 process engineering support for pharmaceutical processes. Noteworthy achievements include implementing a start-to-start strategy that significantly reduced active ingredient cycle time, enhancing product changeover efficiency through engineering support, and conducting root cause analyses for process upsets. Prior experiences include serving as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where Justin contributed to a model predicting COVID-19 hospitalization likelihood, and a Student Help Intern at DuPage Medical Group, strengthening model accuracy with extensive data.
