Koen De Witte holds a PhD in Chemistry from Universiteit Antwerpen, completed in 2008. Koen began a career as a PhD scientist at the University of Antwerp from September 2004 to November 2008. Subsequently, a tenure as Operations Manager Special Metals at UMICORE PMR lasted from April 2013 to April 2016, followed by a role as Plant Manager at Wienerberger Belgium from May 2016 to November 2020. Koen then served as General Supervisor at INEOS Phenol from November 2020 to February 2023, before transitioning to Evonik, where responsibilities included Head of Production roles and an Assistant position from February 2023 to October 2023.
