Len Kientz

Len Kientz is an accomplished energy management professional with extensive experience leading teams and managing substantial energy procurement budgets. Currently serving as Director of Energy Management at Evonik since June 2012, Kientz oversees a team responsible for over $275 million in annual spending on electricity, natural gas, and steam across 30 manufacturing sites in North America. Prior to this role, Kientz held positions in energy consulting and sales at DomeTech/Noresco/United Technologies, where responsibilities included conducting energy audits and evaluating utility programs. Earlier experiences include managing sales and customer service at Supreme Energy, Inc. and serving as an Account Manager at Suez Energy, achieving significant annual margins. Kientz holds two Bachelor of Science degrees in Electrical Engineering, with a focus on Power Systems, from the New Jersey Institute of Technology.
