Patrick Gloeckner

Patrick Gloeckner has extensive experience in the field of polymer chemistry and innovation management. Currently, Gloeckner serves as the Head of Global Circular Economy Program and Head of Global Circular Plastics Program at Evonik, a position held since November 2020. Prior to this, Gloeckner was Vice President of Industry Cross Innovation at Evonik Industries AG from July 2016 to November 2020. Gloeckner's career at Evonik includes roles such as Head of Innovation Management Resins & Sealants and Director of Product Management/Technical Marketing. Earlier experience includes serving as Director of Technical Service Coatings at Evonik Tego Chemie GmbH and Group Leader RD at Degussa AG. Gloeckner's educational background includes a PhD in Polymer Chemistry from Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz and a Diplom-Chemie from Bergische Universität Wuppertal.
