Sumedh Phatak

Sumedh Phatak is currently the Vice President of Procurement, Global Logistics & Packaging at Evonik, a position held since 2023. Previously, Sumedh served as the Director of Logistic Services for North America at Evonik from 2020 to 2022 and held various roles including Business Manager for Alkoxides and Potassium Derivatives and Head of Supply Chain Management in North America. Sumedh began their career at Milestone Inc. as a Sales Support Applications Chemist and later became a Product Manager. They earned an MBA from New York University's Leonard N. Stern School of Business, an MS in Chemistry from Syracuse University, and a B.Tech in Dyestuff and Intermediate Technology from the Institute of Chemical Technology, along with completing a Corporate Development Program at IMD in 2023.
