Thomas Wessel

Thomas Wessel has been the Chief Human Resources Officer at Evonik since January 2009. Prior to that, they were a Member of the Board of Management and Director of Human Resources at RAG Bildung GmbH from 2006 to 2009. From 2002 to 2006, they were a Member of the Board of Management at RAG Beteiligungs-GmbH. Thomas has also held various positions at RAG Aktiengesellschaft, Bergbau AG Lippe, and Bergbauverwaltung Lippe. Mr. Wessel received their training as an industrial clerk at Bergbau AG Lippe from 1979 to 1981.

They are on a team with Ute Wolf - CFO, Harald Schwager - Deputy Chairman of the Executive Board. Thomas Wessel reports to Christian Kullmann, Chairman of the Executive Board.
