Thorsten Junk

Thorsten Junk is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in corporate strategy and leadership development, currently serving as Vice President of Corporate Strategy at Evonik since September 2015. In addition to this role, Thorsten oversees the Leadership & People Development Academy, leads global leadership development initiatives, and manages customer relations and commercial activities. Prior to joining Evonik, Thorsten served as a Navy Officer in the Deutsche Marine from July 2003 to August 2015. Academically, Thorsten holds a degree in Managing Sustainable Growth from IMD, an Executive MBA from the University of Münster, and degrees in Economics and Business Management & Political Science from FernUniversität in Hagen and Helmut-Schmidt-Universität respectively.
