Timo May has extensive experience in the biotechnology sector, currently serving as the Head of R&D Biotechnology and Head of Technology and Process Development at Evonik since July 2012. Prior to this role, Timo May was the Director of Production and Head of Downstream Processing at Richter-Helm BioLogics GmbH from 2003 to 2012, and held the position of Head of Laboratory focusing on process development and analytics at Strathmann Biotech GmbH from 2000 to 2003. Timo May holds a Dr. rer. nat. in Cell Biology and Molecular Biology and a Dipl.-Biol. in General Biology, both from Kiel University, with studies completed between 1991 and 2000.
