Tommy Guo

Tommy (Jiang) Guo is an experienced professional in the coatings and inks industry, currently serving as the Head of Applied Research and Technology at Evonik since June 2019. Prior roles include Technical Manager at Eastman Chemical Company, where responsibilities involved identifying growth opportunities in the South Asia Pacific region and promoting innovative solutions in coatings and inks. Tommy previously held positions as a Senior Technical Service Representative and Technical Team Leader at Eastman, and as a Senior Technical Service and Development Representative at Hexion Inc. Additionally, Tommy began a career as an R&D Scientist for Emulsion Polymer at Dow Chemical (Heritage Rohm and Haas). Tommy holds a Master's degree in Polymer Chemistry and Physics from Shanghai University, obtained in 2005.
