Aaron Ochel is a seasoned research scientist with extensive experience in the biotechnology and medical research fields. Currently serving as a Senior Research Scientist at Evotec since June 2024, Ochel previously held the position of Principal Investigator at BioAgilytix from January 2020 to February 2024. Prior to this, Ochel worked as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at Universitätsklinikum Hamburg Eppendorf between March 2017 and December 2019, and as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Justus-Liebig-Universität Giessen from June 2014 to February 2017. Ochel began a doctoral journey as a PhD Candidate at the Helmholtz Centre for Infection Research, which lasted from October 2010 to May 2014, following the attainment of a Master of Science in Biology from Justus Liebig University Giessen in 2010.
