Alessandro Lamonica

Alessandro Lamonica is a highly skilled research expert and project leader in drug product manufacturing, currently working at Evotec since January 2024. With extensive experience in process engineering at Zambon from 2015 to 2023, Alessandro specialized in pilot and industrial scale process development and innovation. Previous roles at Aptuit involved material science, polymorph screening, and characterization of API physical properties, while also engaging in the discovery and optimization of biologically active molecules at Autifony and earlier positions at Aptuit and GSK. Alessandro holds a degree in pharmaceutical chemistry from Università della Calabria and has completed an international exchange program at the University of Waterloo, highlighting a robust academic foundation in chemistry, biochemistry, and physiology.
