Senior Vice President Protein Homeostasis Biology at Evotec

Andreas Weiss has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of biotechnology and pharmaceuticals. Andreas began their career as a PHD student and Postdoc at Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research (NIBR) in 2005, where they focused on research and development. Weiss then joined Novartis in 2010 as the Head of Laboratory, where they managed and directed laboratory operations. In 2013, they became the Scientific Director of Drug Discovery and Technology at IRBM-Promidis, where they oversaw the scientific aspects of drug discovery projects.

From 2014 to 2019, Weiss served as the Vice President of Neurobiology at Evotec, leading research and development efforts in the field of neurobiology.
