Christophe Boldron

Vice President, Head Of Molecular Architects at Evotec

Christophe Boldron has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Christophe began their career in 1997 with military service in the French Army before moving on to research and development roles in chemistry. From 1999 to 2002, they completed a PhD in synthesizing compounds with cytotoxic properties. Boldron then worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Leiden Institute of Chemistry from 2002 to 2004, focusing on the synthesis of anticancer agents. Christophe joined the Laboratory of Coordination Chemistry (LCC) in 2005, where they served as a project co-leader in medicinal chemistry, contributing to the development of treatments for neurodegenerative diseases. In 2014, they transitioned to Sanofi, where they held roles as a project and team leader in medicinal chemistry, managing various projects in different disease and target classes. In 2015, they joined Evotec, first as a project leader until 2018, and then as the Vice President of Medicinal Chemistry until 2022. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President and Head of Molecular Architects at Evotec.

Christophe Boldron obtained a Master's degree in Organic Chemistry and Biomolecules from Université Paul Sabatier (Toulouse III) from 1994 to 1998.
