Duncan McHale

Duncan Mchale is a highly experienced professional in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors, currently serving as a Member of The Supervisory Board for Evotec since June 2024 and co-founding Weatherden in May 2017. Previously, Duncan held the position of Chief Medical Officer at Evelo Biosciences from December 2017 to June 2024, and served as Vice President of Global Exploratory Development at UCB Pharma from September 2011 to May 2017. Additional roles include Vice President of Translational Science and Medical Director of Personalized Healthcare at AstraZeneca, and Senior Director of Molecular Profiling at Pfizer, where leadership of the European Pharmacogenetics group was achieved. Duncan's early career included a role as Research Registrar at the University of Leeds after obtaining a PhD in Human/Medical Genetics, complemented by an M.B.B.S. from Newcastle University.
