Frank Rolfs

Research Scientist Clinical Proteomics

Frank Rolfs is a Research Scientist in Clinical Proteomics at Evotec since August 2022, specializing in the identification of novel protein biomarkers in breast cancer. Previously, Rolfs served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at VUmc from February 2015 to July 2022 in the OncoProteomics Laboratory and at ETH Zürich from December 2007 to January 2015 in the Tissue Repair & Cancer Group, where critical research in skin cancer was advanced. Rolfs holds a PhD in Biomedical Sciences from ETH Zürich, with a focus on oxidative stress in skin tumor development, and a degree in Molecular Biology from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. Early research experiences included work on jumping genes and neuronal stem cells at the Max Delbrück Center.
