Giulia Cisbani

Giulia Cisbani is a research associate at Evotec since August 2021 and co-founder of Immigrant and International Women in Science since October 2018. With a strong background in neurobiology, Cisbani has served as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Toronto and as a research specialist for the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada, where responsibilities included liaising with key opinion leaders and managing grant administration processes. Previous roles include project manager and PhD student at CRCHUQ, focusing on pre-clinical studies in Huntington’s and Parkinson’s diseases, and an internship at Università degli Studi di Milano in molecular biology. Cisbani's educational credentials include a Ph.D. and master's degrees in neurobiology from Université Laval and multiple degrees in industrial and environmental biotechnology from Università degli Studi di Milano.
