James Errey

James Errey has extensive work experience in the field of protein biochemistry and structural biology. James is currently employed at Evotec as the VP Head of Global Protein Biochemistry, a position they have held since October 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Evotec as the Vice President of Structural Biology from March 2019 to October 2021. Before joining Evotec, James worked at Sosei Heptares as the Director from December 2016 to March 2019, and at Heptares as the Associate Director from May 2008 to March 2019. James also has academic research experience, having worked as a PDRA at the University of Oxford from August 2006 to May 2008, and at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine from August 2003 to August 2006. James started their career as a Research Associate at the University of Kent from June 1999 to September 1999.

James Errey obtained their PhD in Carbohydrate Biochemistry from the University of East Anglia from 2001 to 2003, and prior to that, they completed another PhD in Carbohydrate Biochemistry at the University of St Andrews from 1999 to 2001.
