Jay Bertrand

Jay Bertrand is currently the Global Head of Structural Biology at Evotec and the Princeton Site Head. They specialize in structure-based drug design, protein crystallography, biophysical methods, and fragment-based drug discovery. Jay has held significant positions at Roche Pharmaceuticals, Pharmacia, Vertex Pharmaceuticals, and Nerviano Medical Sciences, where they contributed to advancements in structural biology and biophysics. Their academic background includes postdoctoral research at the Institut de Biologie Structurale in Grenoble, France, and a Ph.D. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, and Crystallography from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
