John Barker

John Barker currently serves as the Executive Vice President and Global Head of Protein Sciences at Evotec, a position held since November 2003. Throughout the tenure at Evotec, John Barker has progressed through various roles, including Senior Vice President and Vice President of Structural Biology, as well as Group Leader of X-ray Crystallography. Prior to joining Evotec, John Barker worked as a crystallographer at Pantherix from 1998 to 2003. Academic credentials include a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Bristol, obtained between 1991 and 1995, alongside foundational education at Kings School Grantham from 1981 to 1988.
