Julien Malassis

Julien Malassis is a research associate at Evotec since May 2021, contributing to medicinal chemistry projects through design, synthesis, and team management while collaborating with clients and various scientific disciplines. Prior to this role, Julien served as a senior scientist at Charles River Laboratories from September 2017 to April 2021, focusing on the synthesis, design, and characterization of small molecules in drug discovery, along with computational analysis and green chemistry initiatives. Julien's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the University of Southampton (2015) and a Master's degree in Chemistry from ENSICAEN (2012). Earlier research experience includes postdoctoral work at the University of Southampton and internships at the University of Southampton and Università degli Studi di Firenze, contributing to published work in notable chemistry journals.
