Katrin Schaefer

Katrin Schaefer is a Senior Research Scientist at Evotec since September 2017, specializing in biophysics and molecular interactions. Responsibilities include conducting advanced techniques such as surface plasmon resonance, microscale thermophoresis, and thermal shift assays, while managing projects that utilize biophysical technologies and overseeing a team of three direct reports. Previously, Katrin held roles as a Research Scientist and a Postdoctoral Researcher at UCLA from November 2012 to June 2017, and served as a Research Assistant and Graduate Student at the University of Hamburg, where a Dr. rer. nat. in Chemistry and a Master’s Degree in Chemistry were obtained.
