Mona Malz is a project leader in drug discovery, currently working as a Project Leader and Senior Research Scientist in In vitro Pharmacology at Evotec since 2019. Previously, they served as a Senior Scientist and Project Manager at the DKFZ German Cancer Research Center from 2013 to 2016, where they led small-molecule drug discovery projects in collaboration with pharmaceutical companies. Prior to that, Mona worked as a Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter (Postdoktorand) at University Hospital Heidelberg from 2009 to 2012, focusing on therapeutic target identification and validation for the treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma and non-small cell lung cancer.
