Nelly Dubarry

Nelly Dubarry is a Senior Research Scientist at Evotec since July 2018, leading a team of four and focusing on antibacterial research through the development and execution of microbiology and phenotypic assays. Prior experience includes a post-doctorate position at Sanofi, where Nelly worked on the microbiology and mechanism of action of antibiotics, and two post-doctorate roles at CNRS, focusing on capsular synthesis and the cell cycle in Streptococcus pneumoniae, as well as DNA segregation and cell division in Escherichia coli. Nelly also held post-doctorate positions at Oxford University, researching ParA proteins in chemotaxis and DNA replication termination in Sulfolobus solfataricus. Nelly earned a PhD in Molecular Microbiology and Genetics from Université Paul Sabatier Toulouse III between 1997 and 2006.
