Olivia Candini holds an MS in Medical Biotechnology and a PhD in Experimental Medicine from the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia. During their PhD, Olivia gained extensive experience in molecular biology techniques in the field of molecular oncology. Their post-doctoral research focused on the effects of human aging on mesenchymal progenitor properties, aiming to enhance stem cell performance for tissue regeneration. Olivia was responsible for Cell and Tissue Engineering R&D at Rigenerand srl before becoming a Senior Supervisor in Cell Therapy Process Development at Evotec Modena, where they work on optimizing cell-based processes for GMP manufacturing.
