Pierre-Benoit Ancey

Pierre-Benoit Ancey is a Senior Research Scientist specializing in Translational Biomarkers at Evotec since December 2020. Prior to this role, Pierre-Benoit served as a Scientist/Post-doctorant at Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne from August 2016 to December 2020, where responsibilities included leading research projects on glucose metabolism and immuno-oncology, along with conducting in vitro, ex vivo, and in vivo experiments. From September 2011 to January 2016, Pierre-Benoit completed a PhD at the International Agency for Research on Cancer/World Health Organization, focusing on the identification and characterization of epigenetically dynamic regions in liver cells. Pierre-Benoit also undertook an internship at Inserm in early 2010, studying the impact of HCV infection on hepatocyte metabolism. Pierre-Benoit holds a Doctorate in Biology with a focus on Oncology and Cancer Biology from Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1, obtained between 2008 and 2015.
