René R.

René R. is a Principal Scientist at Evotec since November 2018, leading a team of machine learning experts in the application of supervised machine learning algorithms across various early drug discovery projects, including bulk and single-cell transcriptomics, drug safety, target gene identification, and patient diagnosis and stratification. Prior to this, René served as a Senior Research Scientist Machine Learning and Team Lead at KWS Group from April 2013 to October 2018, where responsibilities included identifying data mining applications in collaboration with internal customers and designing specialized algorithms for molecular data research. René's academic background includes a PhD from Technische Universität Braunschweig, along with a Master's degree in Applied Computer Science and a Bachelor's degree in Bioinformatics, both from The University of Göttingen.
