Richard Baxter is an accomplished scientist currently serving as Team Leader at Evotec since August 2023. Previously, Richard held the position of Assistant Professor at Temple University School of Medicine from August 2017 to August 2023, where significant research on the binding of the anticancer agent titanocene dichloride to human serum transferrin was conducted, resulting in two peer-reviewed publications. Prior to that, Richard was an Assistant Professor at Yale University from July 2010 to July 2017, focusing on the crystal structure of innate immune proteins from the malaria vector Anopheles gambiae. Richard's postdoctoral experience includes a role as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Howard Hughes Medical Institute and as a Postdoctoral Fellow at UT Southwestern Medical Center. Richard earned a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Chicago and a BSc (Hons.) in Chemistry and Mathematics from The Australian National University.
