Roberto Baggio

Roberto Baggio is a Research Scientist in Formulation Development and Manufacturing at Evotec since December 2022, previously serving as an Associate Scientist at The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson from March to November 2022. Prior to that, Baggio worked at Salix from November 2018 to March 2022, focusing on solid oral dosage forms, troubleshooting, and managing the initial production batch. Baggio completed a PhD at the University of Padova from October 2015 to November 2018, concentrating on scaling up wet granulation processes, including a visiting PhD stint at Heinrich-Heine-Universität Düsseldorf where knowledge on the rheological aspects of wet masses was enhanced. Early experience includes a Quality Assurance Traineeship at Angelini and a professional internship at Farmacia all'Angelo. Baggio holds a Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology from Università degli Studi di Padova and completed a Master Thesis Internship in Molecular Modelling at Queen's University Belfast.
