Rowina Westermeier, PhD has extensive work experience in various roles. Rowina is currently the VP Head of Strategy at Evotec since April 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Associate at McKinsey & Company from November 2019 to January 2023. Rowina also served as the Director and Co-Founder of Antiverse, where they developed a computational antibody drug discovery platform and raised £360k in funding. Rowina was an Executive Fellow and Venture Founder at Deep Science Ventures, where they received pre-seed funding for their project. Additionally, they worked as an Associate Protein Biologist at Domainex, Operations Controller at GMSL, and Research Assistant at the University of Malta. Rowina started their career as a Research Laboratory Technician at the University of Cambridge.

Rowina Westermeier, PhD earned their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biochemistry from the University of Cambridge from 2011 to 2015. Rowina also holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Biochemistry from Royal Holloway, University of London, which they completed from 2007 to 2010. Additionally, Rowina spent a year studying as an exchange student at the National University of Singapore, focusing on BSc Biochemistry from 2008 to 2009. In 2019 and 2020, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the Quantic School of Business and Technology.
