Sven Sauer

Sven Sauer is a seasoned expert in computational biology and drug discovery, currently serving as Vice President of Computational Biology at Evotec since December 2018, leading a team of over 30 professionals in developing computational tools for multi-Omics and biomedical data analysis. Previously, Sven held roles such as Group Leader in Computational Biology and Group Leader in vitro Pharmacology, overseeing research aimed at precision medicine and drug development. Sven's earlier experience includes a position as Group Leader at University Hospital Heidelberg, managing strategic research initiatives and supervising international students and researchers. With a strong academic background, including a PhD in Metabolism from Heidelberg University, and extensive expertise in immunometabolism and oncometabolism, Sven is well-regarded in the field.
