Thomas Hanke

Thomas Hanke holds the position of EVP, Head of Academic Partnerships at Evotec since November 2013 and is involved in various capacities within the biotechnology sector, including roles as EVP, Head of Immunology and Inflammation at BIO Deutschland e. V. and Co-Lead AG Technologietransfer at CARMA FUND Management GmbH. Thomas serves on multiple boards, including Tubulis GmbH and Dark Blue Therapeutics, and has been instrumental in several initiatives and collaborations, particularly in the fields of autoimmune and inflammatory diseases. Prior experience includes leading roles at Novo Nordisk as Sourcing Director, where significant licensing agreements and research collaborations were initiated, as well as serving as Chief Scientific Officer at TeGenero AG, where Thomas played a pivotal role in advancing the company to a clinical-stage biotech entity. Academic credentials include a PhD in Biology, specializing in Immunobiology, from The Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg and postdoctoral research at the University of California, Berkeley.
