Yan-Kai Chen

Yan-Kai Chen is a Senior Scientist in Cheminformatics at Evotec and has a strong focus on applying machine learning and AI in their work. They previously contributed to the establishment of a text mining platform at Grünenthal Group and served as a demonstrator mentoring undergraduates at The University of Edinburgh. Yan-Kai also pioneered a knowledge graph modelling platform at CardiaTec Biosciences and has extensive experience from their time at Taiwan Centers for Disease Control, where they analyzed quarantine data and developed public health regulations. They hold a PhD in Quantitative Biology from The University of Edinburgh and a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Informatics from National Yang Ming University.
