Chris Nelson

Chris Nelson is an experienced professional in information security with a robust background spanning over a decade. Currently serving as the Business Information Security Officer at EVOTEK since October 2022, Chris assists clients in developing and implementing security programs and controls. Prior roles include serving as an Information Security Architect at United Launch Alliance, where responsibilities included control design for NIST SP 800-171 and CNSSI 1253 within ISO 27001 ISMS, as well as managing Authority to Operate processes. Chris has also held positions as Managing Member at The Corbeau Group, Vice President of Security at Distil Networks, and Director of Security at Rally Software, focusing on building security programs, integrating compliance frameworks, and enhancing IT infrastructure. Education was completed at Middle Tennessee State University with a degree obtained between 2002 and 2005.
