Greg Sternberg

Greg Sternberg is a seasoned security architect with extensive experience in securing applications and networks, currently employed at EVOTEK since July 2020. As a board member of BSides Denver since January 2019, Greg contributes to enhancing the community's experience. Previously, Greg served as CISO for the ISSA Denver Chapter, overseeing data protection and compliance activities, and as a global security architect at Sungard Availability Services, where responsibilities included policy and standards development. Greg has also held positions as affiliate faculty at Regis University, teaching in the computer software program, and as a senior software/security architect at Jeppesen Sanderson, focusing on compliant solutions. Early career roles include tech lead/architect at Level 3. Greg holds a master's degree in software engineering and management from Regis University and a bachelor's degree in computer science from Metropolitan State University of Denver.
