Akmal Abbasov

Akmal Abbasov is a highly experienced technology professional with expertise in platform engineering and cloud infrastructure management. Currently serving as a Staff Platform Engineer and Tech Lead at evroc since September 2023, Akmal has previously held significant roles including Senior Backend Engineer (SRE) at Embark Studios and Senior DevOps Engineer at Yubico. With a solid foundation as an Infrastructure Engineer at Hive Streaming - Peerialism AB, Akmal has a proven track record in configuration and management of cloud infrastructures, data pipeline development, CI/CD implementation, and observability monitoring. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science degree in Computer and Communication Networks Engineering from Politecnico di Torino and a Bachelor's degree in Informatics and Information Technologies from Tashkent University of Information Technologies. Additionally, Akmal contributed to the DVD authoring and burning core engine development at ProDVD during a tenure as a Software Developer.
