Radu Achihai

Radu Achihai has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Radu is currently serving as the Co-founder and COO at Evyon, an organization dedicated to maximizing the value of second-life EV batteries by repurposing them in a data-driven and sustainable manner. Radu aims to establish Evyon as a world-leading sustainable battery systems company by 2030.

Prior to Evyon, Radu worked as an Entrepreneur at Antler from August 2020 to February 2021.

Radu's long-term association with Visuray began in 2013, where they held the position of Operations Manager for the Eastern Hemisphere. During their tenure, Radu achieved a 100% successful job rate across 12 operations in multiple countries on different continents. Radu played a pivotal role in developing the commercial strategy, closing sales, and acquiring clients in various regions. Radu also implemented various business systems, led HSEQ and process management efforts, and ensured compliance with global regulations.

Before joining Visuray, Radu gained valuable experience at Schlumberger. Radu worked as a Wireline General Field Engineer and held several positions with increasing responsibilities, including Wireline Senior Field Engineer and Wireline Field Engineer. Radu also briefly served as a Continental Europe Recruiting Assistant.

Radu's professional journey started at Wavefront Media SRL, where they co-founded the company and served as the Marketing and Sales Manager. Radu successfully secured clients, generated significant revenue, and maintained a short DSO.

Radu Achihai completed their education at various institutions throughout their career. In 2001 to 2006, they attended the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest, where they obtained a Master of Engineering degree in Computer Science.

In 2019, Radu pursued executive education at the BI Norwegian Business School, completing the Executive MBA program with a focus on the Global track - EQUIS, AMBA, AACSB. Additionally, in the same year, they attended the IE Business School Executive Education program, specializing in EU and Latin-American Business Trends.

In 2020, Radu furthered their executive education by participating in the Asian Business Trends Executive Program at the Nanyang Business School. Radu also completed the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Executive Program at the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business.

Aside from their formal education, Radu Achihai has acquired additional certifications over the years. Notably, they became a Radiation Supervisor Level 5A in the Netherlands through Applus+ RTD in September 2015. Radu also obtained the Radiation Supervisor (X-ray) certification from Public Health England in April 2014. In April 2017, Radu obtained the Radiation Supervisor certification from the Australian Department of Health. Furthermore, they completed the BOSIET & First Aid course at the SOTS Course Center in September 2015.
