William Smarzewski

Bill is a project architect and designer devoted to positively impacting the future. He is deeply committed to crafting beautiful, high-performing buildings and developing design and idea-sharing platforms that encourage innovation, collaboration, and creative thought. Bill brings this commitment to a diverse set of projects within EwingCole. He has been involved in designing and constructing several complex Net-Zero Energy and low-carbon buildings. He shares this expertise with EwingCole’s sustainability group, Thrive@EC, as the Facilitator of the Building Enclosure and Structure focus group.

Bill excels at digital design, prototyping, and systems integration and brings this expertise to the firm through integrated project collaboration. As an educator, he encourages student growth in architectural design, software, and sustainable initiatives. Bill received a Master of Architecture from the University of Illinois.
