Joel Carrier

Joel Carrier is an experienced engineer with a focus on software development, particularly in web technologies. Currently serving as a React developer at ewool since January 2022, Joel previously held the title of Principal Engineer at PowerSchool, where leadership in the ERP Division included developing reusable components for the ASP.NET Core product suite. Prior experience includes roles as a software developer at SRB Education Solutions Inc and Upward Health Solutions, contributing to the creation of ASP.NET products and leading development in the health sector startup, respectively. Previous positions also encompass software development at Ericsson Research Canada, specializing in telecom gateway solutions, and a brief tenure at Matrox, focused on porting applications to Linux. Joel holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from Concordia University and has additional education from ExitCertified and Champlain Regional College.
