Matt Morris currently serves as the GM Technology, Analytics and Business Improvements (CIO) at the Energy and Water Ombudsman (Victoria) (EWOV) since October 2024. Previously, Matt held the position of Director, Information and Analytics at Barwon Health from October 2017 to October 2024, leading strategic initiatives and managing teams focused on data governance and analytics. Between August 2023 and September 2024, Matt was the Director, Data and ICT Infrastructure at the South West Alliance of Rural Health (Vic), overseeing ICT infrastructure and cyber security across 14 health services. Prior experience includes serving as Project Director at the Transport Accident Commission (TAC) from September 2015 to October 2017, where Matt led digital transformation initiatives, and as a Member of the Board of Directors at Ballarat ICT Limited from September 2009 to October 2015, focusing on governance and strategic direction. Matt holds an Applied Science degree in Computer Science and Instrumental Science from Swinburne University of Technology.
